Anti-snoring

anti_snoring_deviceAlmost everyone snores occasionally and whilst some snoring can be harmless,snoring can be a symptom of sleep apnoea. Sleep apnoea is frequently associated with high blood pressure, strokes and cardiac arrest.

At Rotherholme Dental Practice we will carry out an overnight sleep test and detailed medical/snoring questionnaire to see if you are suitable for an anti-snoring device.

This data is then analysed and then if suitable we will fit a Sleepwell anti snoring device for you.

Sleepwell is a cost effective and long term snoring treatment designed to help stop snoring. It works by preventing the lower jaw from dropping back during sleep thereby preventing the closure of your airways during sleep. Sleepwell is a custom made piece produced within a special laboratory to fit create a great fit for your teeth. It features a soft inner lining, allowing sideways movement and providing comfort.
